The Charleston (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has recorded in excess of 10,000 volunteered service hours in the trident area over the past three years. The chapter plans to increase its positive impact on our community while simultaneously nurturing and supporting each extraordinarily gifted member.

 The Links Arts facet provides sponsorships as well as volunteer hours to the MOJA Arts Festival, the Colour of Music Black Classical Musicians Festival and various artistic events in the community. Learn more 

SC_LinksDayAtCapitolNATIONAL TRENDS: The VISION of the National Trends and Services facet is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to services through advocacy, education, and service through a now annual summer enrichment camps for middle school girls at the World Ballet. Learn more 
home-intltrendsINTERNATIONAL TRENDS: This facet works with Haitian Support, a non-profit 501(c)(3), to provide for and promote a micro-loan program (small business loans) for Haitian women with viable business plans. ITS objective is to provide help to move families from poverty to a reasonable standard of living. Learn more 

links-scHEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES: Entering our third year with our “Weight No Longer” program that focuses on good nutritional habits, fitness, and hygiene at North Charleston Elementary School, we have tracked 23 third graders through fifth grade. We are pleased that 90% of the students have shown significant academic improvement. Learn more
links-sc2LINKS DAY AT THE CAPITAL: South Carolina’s 7 Chapters gathered at the Statehouse in April to be recognized by State Legislators, enjoy lunch and updated with a panel discussion, “Human Trafficking in South Carolina: The Associated Violence and Sexual Health Problems”.
